It is reported that an easybike driver died of brain haemorrhage after being slapped by a businessman in Dinajpur. The police have sent the dead body to the hospital morgue for autopsy. The incident took place on Friday (December 2) in the busy Churipatti area of Dinajpur city.
The house of deceased easybike driver Khalekul Islam is in Mohan village of Birol upazila. He lived with his family at his father-in-law’s house in Sheikhpur Megda Para, Ward No. 7 of Dinajpur Municipality.
Dinajpur M Abdur Rahim Medical College Hospital doctor Noor Alam said that due to the slap, the brain of the easybike driver suffered severe bleeding. He died due to hemorrhage.
Kotyali Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Tanvirul Islam said that Khalekul was driving an easy bike in the busiest Maldah Patti area of the city. Then Santosh Kumar Dal Mia, a churipatti cloth merchant, collided with Easybike. He got angry. There was an argument between them.
He said, at one point, the businessman slapped the easybike driver’s ear. At that time, blood started pouring from the ears of the easybike driver and he fell down on the ground and fainted. Locals informed the family of the easybike driver Khalekul over the phone. Later, when his wife Noor Jahan came and took him to the hospital, the doctor declared the easybike driver dead.
The body has been sent to Dinajpur M Abder Rahim Medical College Hospital morgue for post-mortem.
