Aftab is locked in Tihar
Aftab Poonawalla (28) was arrested by the Delhi Police on November 12 for allegedly killing his live-in partner Shraddha Walkar in a rented flat in South Delhi’s Mehrauli area. Police had said that Aftab strangulated Shraddha to death and cut her body into about 35 pieces, which he kept in the refrigerator at home for about three weeks. Then kept throwing them in different areas of the city for several days.
In this case Aftab’s narco and polygraph test has been done. During this, he confessed to killing Shraddha. At present Aftab is lodged in Delhi’s Tihar Jail. Sources had told in the past that Aftab had asked the Tihar administration to read the book as well. The jail authorities then provided him with Paul Theroux’s book ‘The Great Railway Bazaar’.
