In Comilla, there was an incident in which a volunteer League worker was attacked and abducted by the police. The incident took place in Bangrabazar area of Muradnagar upazila on Friday (September 9) evening.
According to the police, Sheikh Zakir Hossain, chairman of Bangra East Union, led the attack. The abducted accused Akram Hossain is his younger brother. Akram snatched mobile phone and money from a person named Fuad Al Saeed of Daulatpur village in front of Agrani Bank in Bangra Bazar last Sunday. A case was filed in the police station on Thursday afternoon in that incident.
